Best Chip Stand on Manitoulin Island my favorite are the mushroom caps and poutine. The caps were crunchy and the poutine was smothered with thick gravy a must when on the Island.

If you haven’t tried "The Works" burger from Rich Man’s Chip Stand, you’re seriously missing out! This burger is hands down one of the most delicious I’ve ever had, juicy, flavour-packed, and stacked with all the right toppings. Every bite hits perfectly. It’s the kind of meal that makes you stop talking and just enjoy. A big thank you to the owner and his amazing family for their warm hospitality. They make you feel like more than just a customer, you feel like a guest in their backyard. You can truly tell they put heart and soul into everything they serve. Hard to find something that was open after 8pm, we lucked out with Richmans Chipstand. The burgers looked amazing and were delicious. You know how real burgers look nothing like the commercial? Well at Richman's Chipstand, their burgers put those chain restaurants to shame. The paddy is not a frozen slab of meat — it looks homemade, wonderfully seasoned and thick. Toppins all looked fresh and tasted amazing on the burger. As far as poutine goes, i personally was not the biggest fan of the fries. They lacked crunch and didnt have good taste to me. Cheese and gravy were pretty good though. Atmosphere wise, its a food truck in a big parking lot. It does have 3 or 4 picnic benches for you to eat as well as some rocks that you could sit and eat on (more so used for parking purposes but still lol). No porta-potty as far as i remember. Will definitely come get burgers here again whenever we pass through.

It is so nice to finally have good fries. I don't eat out often but every time I have lately the fries have been mediocre to horrible, even when traveling the McDonald's fries have been undercooked. But the fries here were perfectly cooked and the burger was amazing, definitely going to be my go to from now on.

So lucky to have this locally owned and operated chip stand in our community! Delicious Poutine with fresh cut real fries , fresh burger with fresh toppings... Has all you need for a yummy drive in chip stand . Keep going strong Lila and Richard!

Very, very tasty. I take poutine seriously, having been to different chipstands in Hawkesbury, L'Orignal (Le Coin or the Poplar Motel were great, but I'm going back 30+ years!), Lachute (poutine, steamées and Simon Sale made for good Tuesdays!) , Drummondville (Poutine Festival!), St. Eustache (great for after going to Marché aux Puces St. Eustache!), Pierrefonds, Repentigny, Chateauguay, Fredericton (NB style poutine is different; still delicious), Oromocto, all over Greater Sudbury and elsewhere (I'm surprised that I remembered this many places!). Rich Man's poutine's cheese curds squeak on your teeth (MANDATORY for a good poutine!) and you're left full, yet wanting more. I got a bacon cheeseburger with it. Super tasty burger and I take burgers as seriously as poutine. Rich Man's is everything a good chipstand should be! If you're nearby and the stomach's rumbling, stop by here!

We are so happy to have stopped there on our way back to Gore Bay after having spent time at the magical Indigenous museum. The food is so good and the owners are very friendly. Complete contrast to my experience at Campbell’s who were very rude to me. We only had fries (mine with gravy ) which were perfect! We just had to go back for more food. My spouse’s burger was delicious, my fries were still perfect and a patron we invited to sit in the shade with us thoroughly enjoyed his chicken fingers. Please stop by there if you’re in the Kagawong, Gore Bay or M’ichigeeng area. You won’t be disappointed.
